There's this strange website called Ning that allows anyone to create a social network. I don't understand why the hell anyone would want to do that. Doesn't the Internet have enough freaking MySpace clones already?

But I went ahead and created one anyway. Yeah, I can be irrational like that sometimes. And now that it's there, I want all of you to come join the Chicken Mafia social network. Come on, it will be fun. It will be just like Friendster... except without any friends. Like I said, fun!

You know what else is fun? Watching nervous squeaky-voiced amateur songwriters perform their original songs onstage, laughing at them, and throwing tomatoes ... that's fun! If you live in Metro Manila, you're in luck. You'll get a chance to do just that next Monday, March 12. It will be Songwriter's Night at the Metro Phi Restobar, Metrowalk, Ortigas. The fun starts at 8 PM. Bring your own tomatoes.

And what's this? Even more fun coming up next month? Yay! Bloggers everywhere (OK, not everywhere... just the Philippines) are invited to attend the two-day iBlog3: the 3rd Philippine Blogging Summit. It's free! And it's fun... I think. Well, it's free, and that's all that matters, right?

I already know what I'm going to wear to the blogging summit: a Chicken Mafia T-shirt! That should be a good way to promote this site. There's just one tiny problem: I don't have any Chicken Mafia T-shirts. So I have around a month's time to get some shirts printed, and I'm not having much luck so far. The printing company I contacted yesterday told me that they require a minimum order of 300 shirts. 300! As I much as I love the Chicken Mafia, I sure don't want 300 freaking chicken shirts. That's no fun.
