Fascist fashion

joyfulchicken's picture

I'm not usually interested in bags, but this one caught my eye.

bag with swastika design
For when you want your fashion statement to be a fascist statement....

Yes, yes, I know that the much maligned swastika is a religious symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, but come on, if you see someone walking down the street carrying that bag, your first thought wouldn't be, "Oh look, a Buddhist." It would be more like, "Heil Hitler!"

Then again, there aren't that many Jews in this part of the world, so I guess having a Nazi backpack is more or less socially acceptable. Carry on.

.

I doubt the people who made that (and the tindéras too) even know what a swastika is

joyfulchicken's picture

True

Now we just need some equally ignorant customers to buy the bags.

dude, that's why there

dude, that's why there aren't that many Jews in this part of the world. we sell swastikas on the sidewalk.

interestingly, i have not yet seen bags with the rising sun of imperial japan. too soon?

joyfulchicken's picture

Another reason:

our country is an archipelago and Jews can't swim.

Jews cant swim

...because they can walk on water!

joyfulchicken's picture

Oh right!

Shit. Hide the Nazi bags!

No, dude. Not all of them

No, dude. Not all of them can walk on water. If memory serves, only one guy in their history ever did. He also made a fig tree wither.

joyfulchicken's picture

Another one also managed to walk on water

at least until he chickened out and sank.

ChickenAde's picture

Well, we see those punk

Well, we see those punk rockzzzzz \m/ kids running around the latest ChicoSci concert while wearing Hitler t-shirts. The irony.

I knew it

L-Robot is a Nazi!

wrong direction?

Aren't Nazi swastikas supposed to be clockwise?
I'm not sure if the reversed swastika is also offensive to Jews.
Then again, maybe they can't distinguish too :)

joyfulchicken's picture

You're right

But at the very least, dyslexic Jews will still find it offensive :-D

this

is what is interesting in the RP market. people do not give a damn as to these symbols who carry a social significance. they are merely imprints that 'looks cool'. very much like the time when che shirts abound.

joyfulchicken's picture

Ah yes, the Che shirt...

the official uniform of douchebags.

philos's picture

Hmmm...

Maybe they're trying to bury the past behind? Look, the bag's shaped like a coffin.

joyfulchicken's picture

A coffin

for a Nazi midget?

philos's picture

Hmmm...

They did say that Hitler was a small man.

Very chic!

Looks nice, but I wouldn't recommend buying that bag. Wait, you didn't buy it, did you? =P

joyfulchicken's picture

Of course not

I already spent all my money on my KKK hood.

KKK hood?

ooohh sounds flashy in a violence maniac kind of way.

joyfulchicken's picture

Yes

White power!

Rock OnzZ

That's so World War II.

joyfulchicken's picture

Or so 2005

Ehe, reminds me of this

Ehe, reminds me of this hooded sweater with the insignia of the KKK for sale. People must've thought 'twas Bonifacio's group.

joyfulchicken's picture

Hehe

Poor Bonifacio. It was such an unfortunate naming coincidence.

ChickenAde's picture

I just realized that that

I just realized that that those Nazi bags are shaped like coffins.

A Nazi-Coffin bag. Huh.

joyfulchicken's picture

Hmm, yes

Just the right size for a Jewish midget too.

That's not a swastika, it's

That's not a swastika, it's exact opposite actually. That symbol(it's name slips my mind) means love and joy. Hitler took it and made the lines point clockwise to mean opposite of the of the original symbol pointing counter clockwise.

joyfulchicken's picture

Close

That's not the Nazi swastika, but still a swastika :-)
